Our Story
RCB Distribuciones was founded by Rudy Castillo Barrera, a professional with more than 15 years of experience in the steel industry. Born in Texas, United States, to Mexican parents, Rudy began his career in construction at a young age, working alongside his father, which gave him a solid knowledge of the sector.
In 2023, Rudy decided to expand his experience by founding RCB Distribuciones in Colombia, a country with a growing construction sector and an expanding economy. His goal was to bring high-quality steel solutions to a rapidly developing market, especially for infrastructure and construction projects.
Throughout his career, Rudy specialized in steel manufacturing and distribution, holding management positions at companies in the United States. His experience includes supplying steel for major projects such as stadiums, airports and landmark buildings, which established him as a leader in the industry.
In Colombia, RCB Distribuciones has stood out for its focus on wholesale sales and state tenders. The company offers comprehensive solutions and personalized advice for large projects, adapting international best practices to local needs and contributing to the growth of the sector in the country.
